NORTH EAST MOUNTAIN TRUST - WINTER LECTURES 2007-2008A Quality Future for Mountaineers and Hill-Walkers Tuesday 19th February 2008Guy RobertsonTorquing AdventureGuy Robertson started climbing in the winter season 17 years ago. He has made many challenging first ascents in both summer & winter, always climbing in an adventurous style, and in destinations as remote & diverse as the Moroccan & Jordanian deserts, the Alps, the Greater Ranges & the Artic Circle in winter. This lecture will focus on some of his big mixed climbing adventures outside Scotland, including trips to Norways magic Lofoten Islands, the Peruvian Andes & big walls in the Greater Himalaya.
