A New Vision For Cairngorm?
Bob Kinnaird (chief exec of Cairngorm Mountain) will outline proposals for a radical repositioning of the experience on offer at Cairn Gorm. The vision is to create a ‘National Centre for the Mountain Environment’ on the hill. Still at a concept stage, plans include reducing & modifying the built infrastructure & developing a more authentic visitor experience, based on the mountain itself, with supporting commercial & event capacity. Can this ‘Eden Project of the North’ lead to a better understanding of sustainability or will it simply create more controversy?
